Method 1 (When the payment has already been received)
- Click on the “+ Money In” option on the top right corner of the dashboard
- Select “Incoming Payment”
- Choose the “Tenant” through the dropdown
- Choose the “Income Category” through the dropdown
- Choose the “Payment Type”
- Enter the “Paid Amount” (Amount received by you)
- Enter the “Paid Date”
- If you want to add a note for files, click on “More Options”
- Click on “Add Payment”
Method 2 (Receiving overdue payments)
When a payment has already been made but is yet to be marked by the system as paid, it shows pending payment. Hence, for transactions as such, we can mark them as paid easily
- Go to “Accounting”
- Look for transactions with an “Overdue” status
- Click on “Overdue”
- Click on “Mark as paid”
- Click on “Submit”
Method 3
When the transactions exist but are not marked as received. Likewise, we can use this method for receiving bulk transactions as well
- Click on the “+ Money In” option on the top right corner of the dashboard
- Select “Existing Receivables”
- Choose the “Tenant” through the dropdown
- Choose the transactions from which the money needs to be received
- Click on “Pay Selected”
